Remember that free membership?

It was decided that we as the Columbia Arts Guild do a bit of advertising at the county fair and give out one free membership as an art award. Yesterday I met with her in Clatskanie before a meeting I had to attend. Her name is Mary Duvall and it was great to finally meet her face to face. I have had her on the email list for some time and had no idea who she was. Now I have a face to go with the name. Our decision to reach out at the fair was a very good one.

Loretta Painting

This Loretta painting at the McCormick park paint out too. She found a great spot along the creek with an island in the middle to paint.
Sorry the photos are blurry. I stole them from Susan's posting in the WA website.

Glen Carr at McCormick Park

This is Glen Carr talking to me (Maeona) at the paint out. He does mostly abstracts but he came to meet some of us. No I am not wearing a skirt. That is my jacket hanging on the handle of my luggage carrier.
