Heritage Park Paint Out Day

Okay ladies, I want to see yours posted in here too. You really did well!

The art gang painting in Scappoose Heritage Park.

Gloria came later and I missed getting her photo. I enjoyed all of you and I hope to see your work from this day at a Guild meeting some day. Thank you for letting me share the tidbits I know with you.

Hertiage Park Paint Out

Today we had a great time at the paint out. Thank you to Maeona for all of your tips and keen eye. It was so much fun and relaxing. It is a great place to paint. Hope we will get together more often to do this.

Artist will be gathering at Scappoose Heritage Park behind the library July 7th for a painting session. Everyone Welcome 8:00 a.m. to approximately noon. Just bring your paints and join us.

Columbia Arts Guild artists will be participating in the 2012 Maritime Heritage Festival held this year in St. Helens, OR July 13, 14 and 15.

Mt Shasta Bear

Sky Spirit came to earth and formed Mount Shasta.

He brought his family to this new home.

He made Grizzly and placed him at the base.

When Sky Spirit’s daughter became lost, Grizzly found her.

Grizzly shared his home where she grew, wed

and gave birth to a new creation.

These were the ancestors of the tribes.

The Bear on my door post guards me.

I must guard the Grizzly.
